For therapists, counselors, coaches & educators in meaning-centered work

Give the people you serve
a way to find meaning again.

Learn to lead a structured contemplative method that helps your clients, your patients, your students — whoever sits across from you — move from noticing their lives to answering them. Not more calm. Direction. The capacity to recognize what a moment is asking, and to respond to it well.

You bring the profession you already hold. This gives it a new depth — and a group format the work has been missing.

You already know what meaning-centred work asks of a person.

You have sat with clients in the space where a life is decided. You know Frankl’s anthropology — freedom, responsibility, self-transcendence — not as theory but as something you use.

And you have probably felt the two limits that logotherapy, on its own, keeps running into.

The first: almost all of the work is one-to-one. The group — where formation actually scales, and where much of the healing happens — is rare in the logotherapeutic world, and few of us were trained to lead one.

The second: clients arrive already so reactive, so dispersed by the digital life, that they cannot yet perceive the meaning that logotherapy points them toward. The meaning is there. The seeing has failed. And talk alone is slow to restore it.

Mindfulness would seem to answer the second problem — except it answers only half. It teaches people to notice. It was never built to teach them what to do next, and it comes wrapped in an anthropology that is not yours.

What if the contemplative instrument you were missing already spoke the language of meaning, freedom, and responsibility?

That instrument is Logomeditation.

It is the contemplative counterpart of logotherapy — mindfulness-based in its mechanism, Franklian in its anthropology, and grounded in the Western contemplative tradition. It trains attention for the sake of perception, opens the inner space of freedom, cultivates virtue so the response is good, and orders the whole toward the recognition of meaning.

The facilitator training does not ask you to become something else. It adds a competence to the profession you already hold:

  • A structured contemplative instrument to complement your individual work.
  • The capacity to lead structured groups — the format this method is strongest in, and the one most missing from the field.
  • A bridge between logotherapy and the literature of mindfulness and contemplative science.
  • An offering that travels: clinic, school, organisation, community.
  • A place in a growing body of research, and a community of practice with supervision.

Is this for you?

Yes, if you are…

  • Trained in logotherapy or existential analysis — you enter directly.
  • A psychologist, psychotherapist, physician, counselor, or educator with an established practice.
  • Working from an anthropology of the person, and looking for a group format.
  • Willing to sustain a daily personal practice through the year.

Not yet, if you…

  • Have no professional base to integrate the method into — the certificate adds to a scope, it does not create one.
  • Are looking for a quick credential rather than a year of formation.

What the certificate does — and does not — give you

It attests competence in the method: that you can facilitate a structured Logomeditation group and conduct one-to-one logomeditations of an educational and contemplative character, with fidelity and within ethical limits.

It does not confer a licence in psychology, psychotherapy, medicine, or spiritual direction. You integrate the method under the licence you already hold. This limit is written into the curriculum, examined, and printed on the certificate — it protects you, the person in front of you, and the method.

How the year is built

01

Live the method

If you have not yet, you begin inside the 12-week programme — you cannot carry what has not carried you. Logotherapy-trained practitioners may enter the training directly.

02

200 supervised hours

Contemplative and mindfulness studies, the maturation of your own practice, teaching methodology, integrated logotherapy, ethics and cultural competence, and documented field practice.

03

A final written work

A supervised group documented and analysed, an integration into your field, or a piece of research. Examined — and the best enter the method’s corpus, with your authorship named.

04

Certification & community

You leave able to run groups and offer one-to-one logomeditations, inside a community of practice with continued supervision and development.

The Certified Logomeditation Facilitator

Admission is by application and interview

Places are deliberately few. We look for maturity, an established practice, and a professional context in which the method can honestly be used — and we would rather tell you honestly that the timing is wrong than fill a seat.

Dates, tuition, and cohort size for the next intake are being finalised. Ask to receive them the moment they are set, along with the full curriculum.

Questions practitioners ask

I already have a full practice. Where does this fit?
Alongside it, not instead of it. Most graduates use the method as a group offering their one-to-one practice could never scale to, and as a structured complement between individual sessions.
Is this just mindfulness with a logotherapy label?
No. It uses mindfulness mechanisms and respects its evidence, but its anthropology is Frankl’s and its depth is drawn from the Western contemplative tradition. Where mindfulness stops — at noticing — is where this method begins.
Do I need to be religious? Will it impose a faith?
No. The method reads contemplative texts as descriptions of human experience and asks no belief. Practitioners of faith find it addressed with precision; those with none find nothing demanded of them.
What can I legally do with the certificate?
Facilitate structured groups and one-to-one logomeditations of an educational and contemplative character, within the scope of your existing licence and local law. It does not grant a new professional licence.
I haven’t practised the method myself yet.
Then you begin with the 12-week programme. It is a prerequisite for everyone without prior logotherapy training, and a good idea even for those who have it.
