Level 2 · Certified Logomeditation Facilitator

A complementary training,
not a second profession.

One year. Two hundred hours. A final written work. You leave able to run structured groups and to offer logomeditations one to one — inside the scope your own licence already gives you.

Logomeditation is a structured contemplative method grounded in Viktor Frankl’s logotherapy — from the Greek logos, meaning. Not from “logo,” the commercial mark.

What it adds to a practice you already have

Most logotherapists work one to one. Most contemplative teachers work without an anthropology. This training closes both gaps at once.

  • A structured contemplative instrument to complement individual work.
  • A group offering — scarce in the logotherapy world, and the format in which this method is strongest.
  • A bridge to the literature of mindfulness, cognitive therapies, and contemplative science.
  • An offering that travels: clinics, schools, organizations, community work.
  • A research path, with each cohort contributing to the method’s own evidence base.
  • A community of practice, supervision, and continued development.

Who may enter

This is a complementary training. It presumes a professional identity you already hold.

Direct entry

Practitioners already trained in logotherapy and existential analysis enter the training directly — the anthropology of freedom, responsibility, self-transcendence, values, and meaning is already theirs. Related formations in the anthropology of the person and the person-centred approach are considered on the same basis, case by case.

Entry after the twelve weeks

Everyone else completes the 12-week programme first. This is not an administrative hurdle. You cannot carry a method you have not been carried by, and the group you will one day lead is one you must first have sat inside.

Professional base

Psychology, psychotherapy, medicine, nursing, social work, education, coaching, human resources and adjacent fields. What you may then do with the method is bounded by your own licence, registration, and local law — which is exactly the point of the next section.

The certification does not grant you a profession.
It adds a competence to the one you have.

What the certificate says — and what it does not

Certification attests competence in the method: that you can facilitate a structured Logomeditation group and conduct one-to-one logomeditations of an educational and contemplative character, with fidelity and within ethical limits.

It does not confer a licence in psychology, psychotherapy, counselling, medicine, or spiritual direction. A psychologist integrates the method into clinical work under their own licence. An educator uses it in educational settings. A coach uses it within the bounds of coaching. The method travels; the scope does not.

This limit is written into the curriculum, examined, and printed on the certificate. It protects you, it protects the person in front of you, and it protects the method.

Alongside the taught hours, students sustain daily personal practice and a period of retreat. The distribution above is indicative and is confirmed in the published curriculum.

The final work

The training closes with a written work of your own: a supervised group documented and analysed, an integration of the method into your professional field, or a piece of conceptual or empirical research. It is examined, and the best of them enter the method’s corpus — with authorship named.

Walk toward it before you apply

You do not have to be ready today. Get the essays, the curriculum in detail, and word the moment applications open — then choose with everything in front of you.
